Due to Fire Hydrant replacement, West Main Street customers located between the Post Office and the Saw Sharpening Shop will experience a water service interruption or loss of pressure while work is being performed. We have notified the customers who we anticipate will be affected. Please be advised that a precautionary boil water advisory will be in effect once service is restored. Please be sure to bring water used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation to a full boil for at least one minute, then cool before use. Once the system recovers, we will collect water samples that must be analyzed for a minimum of 24 hours. You will receive another message from us letting you know when this advisory has been lifted. We apologize for this inconvenience.
