Following the announcement of the closure of all West Virginia Public Schools, we received several telephone calls from concerned citizens wondering how they can help. We suggest that if you would like to donate non-perishable items, you do so to ECHO or to Milton Baptist Church. We will update you here on our website if we learn of more volunteer efforts. In addition, you can drop off donations at Milton City Hall during our normal operating hours and we will ensure the donations get to the appropriate places.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has approved a waiver for the preparation of meals for school-aged children (18 and under.) We have been advised that grab-and-go meals will be available at April Dawn Park beginning Monday, March 16th. We will update you when more details are provided.
